Tory has worked in the Recovery field for many years, working tirelessly to support, educate, and promote Recovery. But he has also worked to build a Recovery Friendly Community outside of work.  Tory serves as the President of the Board of Community Recovery Alliance (CRA) and was part of the group of dedicated individuals that found start CRA. He took over the Presidents role in January of 2023. In addition, he is a Board Member for Recovery NOTES and Great Lakes ROTA-RC. He also leads the Recovery Dharma meetings in Petoskey and is a dedicated soccer dad. His work with these organizations creates fun opportunities for the recovery community, help reduce the stigma of recovery, and promote the overall Recovery Community in Northern Michigan.

Tory shares his story of hope with the community, and is a mentor, advisor, and friend to many in the community. For me, he has been there to support me in my new role as the Executive Director of CRA. He has been an invaluable resource for me, sharing is experience, guidance, suggestions, and resources at every step. His passion and dedication is clear with every conversation. No matter how busy he is with being a soccer dad, on top of all of his other hats, he always makes you feel seen and heard with every conversation, and always finds time for anyone that needs a listening ear or a little bit of guidance.
