The Michigan Center for Rural Health is pleased to partner with Health Services Associates to bring a monthly webinar series focused on a variety of topics relevant to Rural Health Clinics.

RHC Provision of Services Regulations (CFR 42 491.9)
Date: May 15th, 2013
Time: 1:00-2:00 p.m. EST
At the end of the program participants will understand:
  • The basic RHC requirements for their clinic.
  • The RHC requirement regarding Direct Services.
  • The RHC  requirements for labs within the clinic.
  • A review of technical billing for Provider Based vs Independent RHC
  • The RHC requirements regarding training and handling of emergencies within the RHC.
  • The RHC requirement regarding agreements for services from outside sources.

  • The requirements for a proper records system within the RHC.
  • The requirements for protection of record information within the RHC.
  • The requirements for retention of records within the RHC.
 
RHC Annual Program Evaluation Requirements (CFR 42 491.11)
November 13th, 2013
1:00-2:00 p.m.
  • The RHC requirements of conducting and documenting the annual evaluation.
  • The documentation requirements and review of the utilization of services within the RHC.
  • The process for changes based on data for the RHC.
  • The process for Chart record review for both Active and Inactive records within the RHC for the yearly review

RHC Quality Network

The Michigan Rural Health Quality Network is an initiative started by dedicated RHCs throughout Michigan and the Michigan Center for Rural Health.
